This Privacy Policy explains how TQTECH SRL (“TQTech,” “we,” “us”) handles personal data when you visit https://www.tqtechsoft.com, contact us, or engage us to build software. The Wedding Journal iOS app has its own section at the end of this page.
Who We Are

Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business:
- Information you provide. Your name, email, company and any details you share through our contact form, by email, or during a project — including documents and materials you send us.
- Technical logs. Standard server logs, including IP address, timestamps and the pages requested, kept for security and diagnostics.
We don't run analytics or advertising tools on this site, and we don't track you across other websites.
How We Use It, and Why We May
We use the information above for these purposes, each on the legal basis shown (EU General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”):
- Respond to inquiries, scope projects and provide our services — to take the steps you ask for before a contract and to perform it (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Operate, secure and troubleshoot our website — our legitimate interest in a safe, working site (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Send service-related communications (contract, Art. 6(1)(b)) and, only if you opt in, occasional studio updates (your consent, Art. 6(1)(a), which you can withdraw at any time).
- Keep the records the law requires, such as accounting records (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c)), and establish or defend legal claims (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell your personal information, and we never use the materials or data you share during a project for anything other than delivering that project.
Cookies
This site doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is a strictly necessary one when you open a password-protected page we shared with you as a client; it keeps you signed in to that page for up to 30 days and needs no consent. If we ever add analytics, we'll ask for your consent first.
Wedding Journal on the web (wedding-journal.tqtechsoft.com) sets one strictly necessary cookie: the session cookie that keeps you signed in (HttpOnly, for up to 14 days after your last visit). Your browser's local storage keeps your language and theme, the wedding you opened last and changes that aren't saved yet, on your device only. None of this is used for analytics or advertising, and none of it needs consent.
Hosting and Service Providers
The website is hosted by Railway Corporation; our e-mail provider handles the messages we exchange with you. These providers process data only on our behalf, under contracts that require them to keep it confidential and secure. Some of them are based in the United States: where data leaves the European Economic Area we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights, property or safety.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, to restrict certain processing, to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us — we answer within one month and don't charge for it. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro), or to the authority where you live.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Project materials are retained for the life of the engagement and a reasonable period afterward, then removed on request.

Wedding Journal (iOS app)

What changed: paid plans and purchases, free trials, notifications, app-version information, the service providers we use and how long we keep data.
This section explains how the Wedding Journal iOS app handles your information. It applies specifically to the app; the policy above covers our website and studio services. Read it together with the Wedding Journal Terms of Use.
Who we are
Wedding Journal is provided by TQTECH SRL, Str. Oțelarilor nr. 17, Galați, România, Romania, Trade Register no. J2026039450005, tax code (CUI) 54928770, e-mail support@tqtechsoft.com. For the personal data described here, TQTECH SRL is the data controller.
What we collect
- Your account. When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive a unique sign-in identifier and, only if you choose to share them, your name and e-mail address. We record when your account was created and its sign-up order.
- Your wedding. Everything you and the people you invite add so it can sync between devices and people: details, guest list and replies (which may include your guests' names and contact details), budget and payments you record, vendors and notes, seating, checklist and timeline, moodboards, invitations, travel details, and photos or documents you upload.
- Your plan and purchases. See “Plans, purchases and free periods” below.
- App and device information. The app version and build, your iOS version, the app language, your device's region setting and time zone, when you last opened the app and on which days you used it. We use it to keep older versions working, to tell you when an update is required, for support, and for aggregated statistics (for example how many couples use the latest version). We do not collect advertising identifiers.
- Notifications. If you allow notifications: the push token Apple gives your device, your notification choices and — only if you opt in — your consent to news and offers (with its date and the version of the text you accepted).
- Technical logs. Our servers keep standard request logs (IP address, time, request and error details) for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.
Why, and on what legal basis. Your account and wedding content (including guest data) — performance of our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). App and device information — performance of our contract (keeping the app working for you) and our legitimate interest in aggregated statistics and reliability (Art. 6(1)(b), (f)). Push notifications and your notification choices — performance of our contract with you; the news-and-offers consent itself — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a), (b)).
Plans, purchases and free periods
Apple handles the payment. Plans are bought through the App Store; Apple Distribution International Ltd. is the seller and handles your payment method, billing address and receipts as an independent controller under Apple's Privacy Policy. We never see your card details or your Apple Account e-mail.
What we keep. When you buy, renew, cancel or get a refund, the app and Apple's server notifications send us a digitally signed record. We keep: which plan was bought (monthly or one-time); Apple's transaction identifiers; the wedding the purchase belongs to (when you buy, we pass Apple your wedding's random internal ID so the purchase is tied to that wedding); the Wedding Journal account that bought it; purchase, renewal and expiry dates; whether it renews and whether Apple is retrying a failed payment; refunds or revocations; whether it was a real purchase or an Apple test purchase; and the App Store country, price and currency of each transaction.
Free periods. We keep when a wedding's free trial started and ends, whether the wedding has the launch free period (worked out from when the owner's account was created and the order in which accounts signed up), any extra free time our support team granted (with a short internal note), a plan choice you saved for later, and which notices about plans you have seen, so each is shown once.
One free trial per person. To offer one free trial per person, we keep one-way cryptographic fingerprints (keyed hashes) of your account ID, your Apple or Google sign-in identifier and your e-mail address, together with the dates of your free period. They cannot be turned back into those identifiers. We keep them for 24 months after your free period ends (the 7-day trial, or the free launch period for accounts that existed before paid plans), also if you delete your account, only to prevent repeated free trials.
Why, and on what legal basis. To unlock your wedding for everyone in it, show your plan status and restore purchases — performance of our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). To stop one purchase from being used for several weddings and to prevent repeated free trials — our legitimate interest in preventing fraud (Art. 6(1)(f)). To answer support requests and handle refunds or disputes — contract and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b), (f)). To keep records the law requires — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Who can see it
People in your wedding can see whether it has a plan, what type, when it ends and who manages it. People invited with the “Helper (read-only)” code do not see plans, prices, budgets, payments, vendor costs or contracts, and cannot edit the wedding. Only the person who paid can manage or cancel a subscription, through Apple. Usage data is used for aggregated statistics; internal access to accounts, plan status and purchase records is restricted to authorised TQTECH SRL staff and protected, and is used only to provide support and run the service. Staff look at wedding content only when needed to help with a request you made.
Notifications
With your permission we send notifications about your plan and payments and short summaries of changes other people make to your wedding; you can turn each type off in the app (Settings → Notifications). We send news and offers only if you opt in on a separate screen, and you can withdraw that at any time in the same place.

Apple and Google act as independent controllers when you sign in with them (Apple also when you buy through the App Store); your device also asks Apple Maps and Apple Weather about your venue's location.
International transfers
Some providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- Account and wedding data: until you delete them (Settings → Account → Delete account).
- Deleting your account removes your account and memberships. For weddings you own: if another member pays for the plan, the wedding passes to them; otherwise you choose to hand it to a partner or delete it; if only Helper (read-only) members would remain, it is deleted. Photos, files and text you added to a shared wedding stay in that wedding — without your name attached — after your own account is deleted. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription with Apple — cancel it first in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. In app versions 1.2.1 and earlier, a wedding nobody else was paying for was deleted outright, with no option to hand it to a partner instead.
- Purchase records: while the wedding exists; after it is deleted we keep a minimal record without names or wedding content (transaction identifiers, product, dates, price, refund status) for up to 3 years for refunds, disputes, fraud prevention and accounting.
- Plan history (for example “trial started”, “plan bought”): kept for support and statistics; when you delete your account we remove your account identifier from it.
- Trial fingerprints: 24 months (see above).
- App and device information, notification choices and push tokens: until you delete your account (push tokens also when you sign out or Apple reports them invalid).
- Server logs: up to 30 days. Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing based on our legitimate interests: support@tqtechsoft.com (we answer within one month). You can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro), or the authority where you live.
Age
Wedding Journal is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this section in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
