Privacy Policy

We keep this short, plain and honest. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TQTech (“TQTech,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you visit https://tqtechsoft.com, contact us, or engage us to build software. By using our site or services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business:

  • Information you provide. Your name, email, company and any details you share through our contact form, by email, or during a project — including documents and materials you send us.
  • Usage data. Basic, aggregated analytics such as pages visited, referring source, approximate region, browser type and device — used to understand and improve the site.
  • Technical logs. Standard server logs, including IP address and timestamps, retained for security and diagnostics.

How We Use It

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to inquiries, scope projects and provide our services.
  • Operate, maintain, secure and improve our website.
  • Send service-related communications and, only if you opt in, occasional studio updates.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never use the materials or data you share during a project for anything other than delivering that project.

Cookies

Our site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies — essential cookies that make the site work, and privacy-respecting analytics cookies that help us understand traffic in aggregate. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not function as smoothly without them.

Third Parties

We rely on a few trusted service providers to operate — for hosting, analytics, email delivery and similar functions. These providers process data only on our behalf and under contractual confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, property or safety.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, just email us — we'll respond promptly and won't charge you for it.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. Project materials are retained for the life of the engagement and a reasonable period afterward, then removed on request.

Wedding Journal (iOS app)

Last updated: 3 July 2026

This section explains how the Wedding Journal iOS app handles your information. It applies specifically to the app; the policy above covers our website and studio services.

What we collect

When you sign in with Apple we receive and store a Sign in with Apple user identifier, and — only if you choose to share them — your name and email address. As you plan your wedding, the content you create is stored so it can sync across your devices and with the collaborators you invite. This includes your guest list and RSVPs (which may contain guests' names and contact details you enter), your budget and payments, vendors and notes, seating arrangements, checklist and timeline, moodboards, and any photos or contract documents you add.

Where it's stored

Your data is hosted on our cloud infrastructure (Railway) in a Postgres database; photos and documents are stored in object/file storage. All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.

Who can see it

Your wedding is private and visible only to the people you invite with your wedding's invite codes. Guests you invite with the “viewer” code can help with tasks and seating but cannot see your financial details (budget, payments, vendor costs, or contracts).

How we use it

We use your data solely to provide the app's features — storing your plan, syncing it across your devices, and sharing it with your chosen collaborators. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Sharing with others

We do not share your personal data with third parties except the hosting providers that operate the service on our behalf, and only as needed to run it.

Retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete account). This permanently deletes your account, the weddings you own and their stored photos and documents, and revokes your Sign in with Apple authorization. Deleting individual items (photos, contracts, entries) removes them from our servers as well. If you leave a wedding you were invited to, you lose access to it while the owner keeps their copy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@tqtechsoft.com.

Children

Wedding Journal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
